Agusan Sur to build 30 Day Care CentersAGUSAN DEL SUR- To boost the education of the Agusanon children, a total of 30 day care centers will be put up in 30 barangays in the five municipalities and one city in the first district of the province. A memorandum of agreement (MOA) was signed on April 11 to formally launched the Early Childhood Education Project Phase 2 for the purpose of building a day care centers. Rev. Fr. Tony Salas, project director of Justice Peace and Integrity of Creation-Integrated Development Center (JPIC-IDC) cited that a P25 million funds was allocated for this program adding that a 67% of the budget came from the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) of District 1 Representative Maria Valentina G. Plaza, the other 12% PDAF is from Governor Adolph Edward ‘Eddiebong’ G. Plaza, 12% from JPIC-IDC and 10% will be borne by the municipal government where the barangay project recipient belongs.
