Provincial TV Station formally opens
Thru the endless support of Provincial Governor Maria Valentina G. Plaza, another state of the art facility for communication formally opens on a first Monday of the month, March of this year at the D.O. Plaza Sports Complex.
The National Broadcassting Network (NBN) Channel 8, being the first local TV station in the region, manned by the OIC-Provincial Public Information Office (PPIO), Alfredo V. Plaza, Jr. is now successfully operational to serve the public.
According to Gov. Tina Plaza in her message during the inauguration, "this is truly a blessed day; this TV station is very responsible in bringing the good news to the people; hopefully everyone will tune in to the station."
Gov. Tina added that putting up the station would be very effective in informing the people on the projects and programs of the government.
Meanwhile, Vice Governor Santiago B. Cane, Jr. said, "this is the most effecive medium of communication." He expressed his gratitude to Gov. Tina for making the plan; a major facility in the province in the field of communication wherein people would be updated with the activities of the province. He even stressed saying, "my salute to Gov. Tina and a job well done to Sir nonoc Plaza."
The inauguration was blessed by Fr. Jabonite and witnessed by the provincial officials, some chiefs of office and government employees.
